Canon APS-C: what each focal length frames
Every camera on this page has a 1.6x crop factor, so whatever the brand, a lens frames like its focal length times 1.6x on full frame. A 50 mm lens frames like 80 mm on full frame on all 5 of them.
To see any of these focal lengths live, Prospekt (Lens Simulator: Prospekt on the App Store) turns your iPhone into a viewfinder for your camera body: pick the body and a focal length from 14 to 300 mm, point the phone, and the screen frames what that lens would. iPhone app, $3.99 once, no subscription.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 24 mm | 0.9 × 0.6 m | 1.9 × 1.2 m | 2.8 × 1.9 m | 4.7 × 3.1 m | 9.4 × 6.2 m |
